Rub a Dub Dub ~ Scrubbing the Tub!

I spent a good hour or so scrubbing my shower today. Now, I always clean the shower but today I gave it a gooooooood scrubbing. I had some pretty hard water stains on it and I found a killer solution to get it off. I have a fiberglass tub and I have tried cleaners to no avail to get this hard water off. Well today I cut up a lemon into two halves. On one half I poured some baking soda over it and then took the lemon and swirled it around on the spots. I let it sit for a few minutes and then took my steamer and sprayed the spots. I followed up with a rag and my goodness, its clean!! The baking soda not only works as a cleaning solution, it is a mild abrasive that with the help of the citric acid of the lemon can cut through stuck on crap such as hard water stains. Now, I knew that no one will notice but me but I did ask hubby if he noticed anything different. All he said was wow, I can see myself in the reflection, lol. Well, that is a good good enough compliment for me!

I also did another bag of trash and another good will bag. I am on a role!! This week tho I will be tackling the kids rooms, wish me luck ;-)
